Epic of a Nation Wins Best TV Feature Programme Award

Epic of a Nation, Zespa Media co-developed and co-produced with CCTV earlier this year, won “Best TV Feature Programme Award” at the “2nd China 3D Video Awards & the 3rd International 3D Conference” held in Beijing on 25th November 2013. It was also nominated for “Best Video – China Region” at the “International 3D & Advanced Video Association Awards”.
Epic of a Nation is a 26-minute 3D TV documentary that details the accomplishment of 100 years of the National Museum of China. This is the first 3D programme commissioned at CCTV. Zespa Media was appointed by CCTV last year to co- produce the show with producers and stereography consultants from China and the UK.
The documentary was aired on CCTV Channel 10 and CCTV 3D channel in May this year. It is also permanently shown at the theatre of the National Museum of China situated next to the Tiananmen Square.
